I think most of us would admit, if asked, that we would prefer smooth road conditions as we travel through life every day. No detours, construction zones, or amber lights telling us to slow down. No accidents ahead. No narrowed lanes. No miseries or depressions. No confusion or uncertainties. No conflicts. 

However, don't we know, or suspect, that growth is happening within us always, - even when - especially when -  life's journey leads us into uncomfortable territory? 

Let's be brave, wise, and hopeful as we embrace life and ourselves.

Something good is unfolding. And we can help bring it about by using the best that is in us.
