"Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor." - Rumi
Did you read the little story on Today's Touchstone's image about the young mosquito? What's your reaction so far? A
chuckle, maybe?
The story goes on with the father gently warning the little guy to be careful because not everyone who appears to be celebrating with us is a well-wisher. True for the mosquito and for us!
But let's appreciate the innocence and optimism of the young mosquito and reclaim a sense of that for ourselves. As the poet Rumi said, "Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor." Can you imagine living life with this attitude?
What if we put aside the times we felt slapped down in flight and make room for the possibility that something is always on our side?
Let's enter 2021 with refreshed hope and faith and trust that Life Itself is clapping for us!
And may we each come to see that this
is true.
With love,
Charlene
