“The key to nature's therapy is feeling like a tiny part of it." ~ Victoria Coren Mitchell
Today's message is a reminder for us to stay near what keeps us feeling zestful and grateful to be alive. What, and where, is that for you?
For me it's being in nature - in gardens, near the sea, on the Red Rock trails of Sedona, in forests. Hmm, with my grandchildren too, I realize, not only because I love them beyond words, but they, and all children, remind me that we are a part of nature not apart from it.
Trees, too, stir and awaken me to life in ways I find hard to describe.
Today's touchstone image is inspired by the bark of a shave brush tree I admire. It's in the botanical garden at Sanibel Moorings on Sanibel Island.
So many life-guiding lessons can be gleaned from the the strength, beauty, and diversity of trees in general.
Today, let's consider what makes us glad to be alive and spend some with that.
For health, well-being, and peace,
Charlene
