“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter
words, but to live by them.” ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy
It’s the official Veterans’ Day, designated to show gratitude to all living veterans. Memorial Day is the day we honor those who died in military service.
I always find my thoughts and feelings expanding with appreciation on both days for all vets, living and deceased, and all those now serving.
Today I’m wondering how we can live our gratitude for their service, as JFK encouraged, not just utter words.
This idea comes to me: what if we do everything today in a spirit of service, loving service?
It’s amazing what can happen when we shift to this attitude. Everything we do can feel beautiful and sacred, causing ripples of good spreading in all directions.
Want to give this a try today? It can even elevate the experience of cleaning the cat’s litter box. Imagine what can come from applying this to other activities you will do today. Are you in?
In love,
Charlene
