"Rise up this mornin'
Smiled with the risin' sun..." ~ Bob Marley
Seeing three little birds - whether in nature, a sculpture, a photo, or a painting - leads me to hearing Bob Marley singing about smiling with the rising sun and not worrying about a thing.
Let's face it it. A lot of worrying is happening now. Let's let something - a song or a psalm or nature sounds - soothe our souls, clear our minds, open our hearts, and smooth our way.
Perhaps listen for nature melodies, pure and true (as the song goes). Hear calls between birds, the rustle of leaves, rain on the roof, the wind through trees.
Notice sights that stir gratitude and scents that bring joy. If not outdoors, find these in your home "sweet" home.
Sweetness is one of the things we need now. The sweetness of love. The sweetness of kindness. The sweetness of the best that is in us, which is strong and beautiful too.
Breathe deep, hold hope. Lean toward peace and let the best of you be.
Trusting with faith,
Charlene
