The simple railroad vine. Also known as the beach morning glory, it's glorious as well as simple, the way it climbs over dune rises, creeps along the sand, and produces a lovely funnel-shaped, purplish-pink flower. 

Whenever I see this beach plant, I receive comfort, joy, hope, and peace, and I'm reminded to stretch, grow, climb...do what the environment and circumstances require. We may not like change but we are very capable of adapting to changing conditions and maintaining our strength and beauty.

Look for simple beauty today. It's around wherever you are, outside of you and inside you. May outer beauty nourish you and your inner beauty nourish another human being. Perhaps you'll offer comfort, peace, joy, and hope... and maybe listening, understanding, acceptance, and love too. Let wisdom direct you.
