“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful." ~ Alice Walker
Have you ever seen a rainbow eucalyptus tree? To me, its bark looks as if it's been finger painted. Sometimes the colors are so bright, the tree looks psychedelic. It certainly looks nothing like the grey oaks and maples I saw growing up in New Jersey. This native-to-the- Philippines-Indonesia-and-New Guinea tree reminds me to become more interested, accepting, curious, appreciative, and respectful of differences in the natural world. Let's fully accept ourselves and each other too.
With love, compassion, and reverence,
Charlene
