"It is of the small joys and little pleasures that the greatest of our days are built." ~ Mary Anne Radmacher
This simple and sound saying can be applied in all seasons of the year, in every kind of weather, at every age and stage of life. In sickness and in health, too, we can find small joys and simple pleasures.
Why not make today one of our greatest days? Start early. Set the intention. Send anticipated gratitude ahead into the day like a current of fresh air to clear any and all lingering irritations. Take a deep breath. Decide to keep your sense of humor if something goes awry. Treat your senses to smells, sights, and sounds you love, such as a favorite piece of music that you haven't heard in a long time. Do something silly. Play. Pray. Let thoughts of joy uplift
you, inspire you, and lead you to peace and calm.
With love,
Charlene
