"How can we live in harmony? First we need to know we are all madly in love with the same God." ~ Thomas Aquinas
I love the love behind today's Thomas Aquinas quote. The reverence too.
Almost everyone is celebrating this day, living this day, in a way that is different than what we are used to. Virtual church services. Virtual dinners. Virtual family gatherings.
We are having a virtual Easter egg hunt too.
As I celebrate this Easter, I find myself wanting to acknowledge, honor, and appreciate all of humanity's holy days and holidays. Learn from them too. Learn from one another.
Yesterday I came across another quote I'd like to offer for our consideration:
“I suppose I am remembering Passover as a way to remind myself that the struggle for freedom is as old as time. That there are always others who yet need to be delivered,” said Jonathan Auxier.
Happy Easter. Happy Passover. Happy Holy Day. Happy Holiday to all.
May we be renewed in love, in hope, in joy.
In faith,
Charlene
