"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." (Often credited to Einstein, the source of this quote is uncertain.)
I don't want to credit Einstein if he did not write this nor overlook him if he did.
It seems especially wise now to be careful with our words. Let's say what we mean, mean what we say, give credit where it is due, and to our own selves be true. I think that means if you're a fish, swim.
Let's widen our perspective on what it means to be smart, talented, gifted, and valuable and bring everyone into a great net of connection and caring.
We need one another.
Truly,
Charlene
