Meeting each day with courage and humor deserves to be recognized. So let's notice and appreciate our brave responses to the everyday straws that fall, not on a camel's back, but on ours.
It would also mean a lot to our friends and family members to hear us acknowledge their steadiness in facing the hazards of the day.
And let's not ignore or downplay crushing tragedies. We have faced them. People we know are experiencing them now. Let's send supportive thoughts to them and pray for us all.
