“We must try to bring joy into the world." ~ Roger Ebert
There are so many ways to bring joy to one another and into the world. Many are simple and easy. Smiling, for example.
Let's first open ourselves to the natural joy in us. Get it flowing. Gratitude for something, anything, is the key.
For the times it seems that the door to joy is locked and the key is missing...well, we can take time to look again because there really is always something we honestly appreciate. It may be little and the joy that comes may be a very soft, subtle joy, but it will come, like a refreshing breeze.
And there is another way to open our own joy, and that is to say or do something supportive, kind, helpful, funny, loving...anything sincere and caring for another person. The joy we give will go around and come around.
Today, let's show ourselves, others, and the world that we care.
With joy,
Charlene
