"Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you're living?" ~ Bob Marley
It takes courage to look within, especially if we sense that the answer to Bob Marley's question might be, "No."
But in every human life there are times of discomfort, especially when we are learning, healing, growing and being called to become more fully ourselves.
And most of us are afraid of change. Yet we're changing every day. We may also be afraid we've made mistakes. Well
who hasn't?
Consider this: When life is gritty, there's a pearl in the making.
There are times to become a pearl. Times to emerge as a butterfly. Times to love more deeply. Times to step up. Times to speak out. Times to be still. "Times for every season under heaven."
Let's begin this day by opening our hearts and looking within with loving kindness, brave faith, and trustful hope.
Notice things. Positive things. What stirs your joy and enthusiasm? What are you proud of? What comforts and supports you?
Is anything nudging you toward change? Ask for heavenly help. Listen with the ear of your heart and give thanks for the guidance you receive.*
For goodness sake,
Charlene
