"Fear less, hope more.
Eat less, chew more.
Whine less, breathe more.
Talk less, say more.
Hate less love more.
And all good things are yours."
~ Swedish Proverb
Notice how some of the sunflowers in this photo are looking backward while, in the foreground, a giant one is preparing to bloom in the near future.
As we look back, may we hold the lessons we have learned and forgive ourselves and others as we let go of negative judgments.
Looking forward, may we enter the new year courageously, committed to applying what we have learned along with some or all of the Swedish proverb guidelines.
And may we live this particular New Year's Eve Day - and every day - graciously, grateful for the gift of life. May we tenderly embrace the human experience as we reverently accept who we are.
With compassion and hope,
Charlene
