"Give yourself a gift of five minutes of contemplation in awe of everything you see around you. Go outside and turn your attention to the many miracles around you. This five-minute-a-day regimen of appreciation and gratitude will help you to focus your life in awe." ~ Wayne Dyer
I hope you'll try what Wayne Dyer recommended in this quote.
Go outdoors and look all around. Explore. Look at things large and small. Or just be still, watching and listening. See what seeks your attention, what calls or comes to you. In just five-minutes, if you are sincere in turning your attention toward appreciating "miracles," you are likely to be rewarded with something awesome.
This is another way to prepare ourselves for a new year. It's a new decade too. Let's enter it with delight.
Awe and reverence too,
Charlene
P.S. - I'd love to hear about appreciations and insights you gain during five minutes outdoors. Today's photo depicts one of my recent outdoor experiences of awe.
THE NINTH GIFT IS REVERENCE. May you appreciate the wonder that you are and the miracle of all creation. - from The Twelve Gifts of Birth
