"Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories." ~ Ray Bradbury
This quote is a new "favorite." I came across it as I looked for one about "wonder" after I experienced it today
I was getting ready to take a picture of sunflowers blooming in our butterfly garden now. They grew, not because my husband and I planted them, but as a result of sandhill cranes and other birds spreading seeds as they ate at our feeders.
I was already amazed and appreciative of how the birds unwittingly brought these bright beauties into the world, when a bee flew into the view of my eye and camera. I watched as the bee approached, landed, stayed for a while, and moved on.
The beauty of the natural world, of which we are a part, is "more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories."
Let's live this day seeing the world with wonder, awe, and reverence. Let's spread beauty and kindness too.
With love,
Charlene
