"I find the best way to love someone is not to change them, but instead, help them reveal the greatest version of themselves.” ~ Steve Maraboli
This is another one of those concepts I now know to be true. I get it.
I didn't know this as a child nor in my early adult years. For a long time I thought we each had to be molded to fit, groomed to be good, and shaped to be accepted.
While I now hold today's quote as a true and valuable ideal, I'm still stretching myself to live it. In fact, every day I work at it as I aim to love people as they are. Sometimes I hit the mark. Sometimes I don't.
Can you imagine what it would be like if we saw one another like precious and rare flowers, each meant to fully bloom into our own authentic expressions of life?
Let's aim for that.
With reverence and compassion,
Charlene
