Yesterday, before The Twelve Gifts for Living Retreat began, I spent some time in the Healing Garden here at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. I'm again sending love, blessings, and good wishes to you from here.

In the Healing Garden and around the 25 acres here, I see so much beautiful diversity in tree trunks and their bark.

I have faith that our wits are growing sharper and our hearts are expanding so that someday we will embrace the beauty of our human differences as we do with nature.

Today, let's aim to see the world as we did as children.
