"When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it." ~ Henry Ford
I'm first sending you an Irish Blessing: May the wind be at your back.
But in case the winds of life seem to be blowing against you now, remember that you can use them to lift and soar.
Consider too the words of poet Rabindranath Tagore: The winds of grace are always blowing, but it is you that must raise your sails.
What if we choose not to fly or sail? Well, we also have this touchstone from the Fables of Aesop:
"The little reed, bending to the force of the wind, soon stood upright again when the storm had passed over."
Whatever way the wind blows, we can respond wisely and well. And all will be well.
With faith, hope, and courage,
Charlene
