"After every storm the sun will smile; for every problem there is a solution, and the soul's indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer." ~ William R. Alger
As we prepare for Hurricane Dorian's arrival in central Florida, I'm reflecting on some of the storms of nature and storms of life that I've experienced.
We've all lived through all kinds of storms, haven't we? During and after storms, grace often appears in some form. Beauty and life-guiding lessons do too. Let's watch for them.
As I pray that this hurricane causes little harm to anyone or anything along its path, I am also praying for all who feel they may be blown apart or off course by the gusts, gales and pressures of a present life challenge.
Along with taking care of our own safety, needs, and wants, let's offer help, compassion, and encouragement to one another.
Always,
Charlene
