“ Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.” ~ Abraham Maslow
A few weeks ago, a neighbor gave me a dead stick. That's what it looked like: a dry, brown, lifeless stick.
But looks can been deceiving, as the saying goes and she said. "Stick the stick in some soil, either in a pot or right in the ground, " she said. "Water it regularly, and watch it grow."
One week ago, one tiny green leaf appeared and part of the stick began to green. It seems that destiny of the stick is to become a beautiful flowing tree. I believe it will.
Let's let this emerging tree be a sign and a symbol of hope and new growth for us. If anything appears dead, doomed, or stuck in our lives, let's picture this tree, trust that life is present, and nurture the relationship, project, or dream.
This goes for us too. Let's grow.
With faith, hope and love,
Charlene
