"Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right.' Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along." ~ George Herbert
Too many of us think we don't have enough of "the right stuff." And so we wait. We delay. We procrastinate. We may even never begin. That is a loss for all. So how do we overcome limiting beliefs and start where we stand?
Did you ever use mud, sand, sticks, stones, leaves, branches, and discarded boxes to build things? Fairy castles or gardens or tree houses or forts, perhaps? Ever fight dragons with a sword you made of cardboard?
There was a time when we explored the world, got inspired, and used the skills we had at the time with whatever tools were available to us.
Our problem-solving and inventive skills have grown since childhood. We have more advanced tools too.
Let's renew the spirit of adventure we had as children, trust that increasingly better tools will become available to us, and start from where we now stand.
With faith,
Charlene
