"That inner voice has both gentleness and clarity. So to get to authenticity, you really keep going down to the bone, to the honesty, and the inevitability of something." ~ Meredith Monk
Let's tune in and listen. This may require silence and solitude, especially if you are an introvert.
As you may know, an introvert is not necessarily shy, although he might be. Introverts restore energy in quiet, alone times, from within. Whereas extroverts draw energy from being with other people.
I've noticed that when I'm especially active, or in crowds, or even with relatively small groups of people, I need to balance those outgoing times with time alone.
Let's each seek to understand and then honor our own unique needs so that we can hear our inner voice. And when we hear it, let's speak it and walk it and live authentically.
It might seem hard at first to remove masks and let outer shells fall away, but won't we all be lighter, freer, healthier, and more joyful?
I know that I would like to meet the real person in everyone and be fully me.
Always,
Charlene
