"The greatest evil that can befall a man is that he should come to think ill of himself." ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Instead of judging ourselves and/or others as weak, bad, stupid, worthless, ugly, greedy, lazy, or just not good enough, let's lean toward releasing ill thoughts as soon as we notice them.
Today's Touchstone for LIVING The Twelve Gifts is to practice self-forgiveness, self-love, and love for all.
Sometime during this day, many of us are likely to "beat ourselves up" with unkind thoughts.
If you don't, congratulations. If you do, congratulations for noticing it and for applying self-forgiveness like a healing balm to yourself.
We all deserve unconditional self-love. If that seems like too big a stretch right now, practice unconditional friendliness toward yourself. That's do-able, isn't it?
Every day, let's lean in toward LIVING The Twelve Gifts and believe in our goodness.
With faith,
Charlene
