"Do. Or not do. There is no try." ~ Yoda
This is a very popular motivational quote right now. With or without knowledge of Stars Wars, we get it.
In The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda is guiding Luke to commit himself completely, to be present, to hold faith, to focus, to be all in, and be in flow.
Of course, it's guidance for us too. Commit. See it. Do it.
When we say, "I'll try" perhaps we should ask ourselves "Why?"
There are times when "I'll try" is sincere and realistic and times when "I'll try" means "No" but we are reluctant or afraid to say so.
For such times, for all times, we can't go wrong if we follow the guiding wisdom of Don Miguel Luiz:
"Be Impeccable With Your Word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean."
We all have the courage and all that we need within us.
