TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

“We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee."

            ~ Marian Wright Edelman

Let's devote ourselves to taking small mindful steps, at least one every day.

It may be a step toward fulfilling a personal creation or toward a peaceful world, a healthier environment, help for homeless people, care for abandoned animals, food for hungry children, greater respect and kindness among us all...

May we never let the sense that challenges are too big or that only big leaps by sweeping programs make a difference stop us from taking any action.

In fact, it it the small but steady steps taken by each of us that will bring about amazing transformations.

I truly believe this. Do you?

With faith,
Charlene
