"Every year I resolve to be a little less the me I know and leave a little room for the me I could become."
~ Wendy Wasserstein
(Facebook reminded me
yesterday that I had posted this four years ago. I'd like to share it again with you today.)
I came across this Wendy Wasserstein quote this morning and thought of it in an expanded way. What if we all become willing to leave behind old patterns that don't work anymore - in our individual lives, in our relationships, our workplaces, our country, the whole world community?
What if, on all levels, we make room for who we can become?
We can become a cooperative and
compassionate country and world in which we respect ourselves, one another, and all creation, as we each become more real, more honest, and more caring.
If you agree, thank you for dreaming with me.
What small step might we take in this direction today? Let's do it.
Wishing you the best of life's gifts.
With love, faith, and
hope,
Charlene
