TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

“If we do not give outward expression to our passions, we will experience self-immolation - the spontaneous combustion of our souls."

               ~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

Some say our souls slowly wither if we don't give expression to our inspirations.

Others say the muses will move on to someone else if we don't act upon the ideas that excite us.

According to many sources, we will suffer in some way if we don't make something of our dreams.

We're all meant to use our gifts of talent and imagination and create in some way.

So let's not be deterred by anyone telling us it's too hard, or we're too old, or too young, or too anything, or not enough of something.

And please don't be discouraged if nothing is inspiring you now. Like fields, sometimes the soil of our souls simply needs rest. When seeds of vision are sprinkled on your renewed spirit in another season, you'll remember to water, feed, grow, and harvest them.

Hold hope.

For the highest good of all,

Charlene
