"When adversity strikes, that's when you have to be the most calm. Take a step back, stay strong, stay grounded and press on."
~ LL Cool J
Yesterday marked a three-month milestone of recovery since my surgery for breast cancer on May 27.
With gratitude and respect for the healing mechanism within us, I'm honoring the gift of strength as I begin another three-month healing
cycle.
Tilman J. Fertitta said, “You've got to stay strong to be strong in tough times."
In other words, we've got to build strength everyday not only to be prepared for tough times, but to live well in all times. How?
"Do what makes you strong" my oncologist advised back in 2000 when I faced cancer the first time.
Do you know what makes you strong?
I invite you to reflect on this and choose at least one activity that empowers you in body, mind, and spirit, and practice that today.
With love and best wishes,
Charlene
PS - You may wish to join me in committing to mindfully practice strength-building activities for the next three months.
