Picture the ocean. To get a sense of its depth, consider Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific. If Mount Everest were placed there, there would still be a mile of water over it.
While our physical hearts are much smaller than an ocean, the spiritual depth of our hearts is far beyond what we experience in day-to-day living, similar to how little we see of the ocean's
vastness when we stand at the shore or of its depth when we cruise on its surface.
Let's intend to go deep into our hearts today.
However far we dive, may we reach a level where we have a powerful experience of love and compassion for all human hearts.
