"Do not say, 'It is morning,' and dismiss it with a name of yesterday. See it for the first time as a newborn child that has no name."
~ Rabindranath Tagore
Happy Saturday!
Now that I've named this day as we typically do, let's consider how we might shift into experiencing this day as if we were newborns or young children.
Forget that it is "Saturday."
Before we know the names of days - and sometimes
when we are away on vacation - a new day is just that: a wonder-filled, beautiful, brand new day.
When was the last time you were so relaxed that you didn't know and didn't care what day it was? Or what time it was?
Whether or not we are on vacation, and despite the troubles
we see in the world, it is an amazing gift to be alive and to have this new day to experience.
Let's aim to bring wonder and joy into it. What might we learn? How might we grow? Expand? Think differently? See beauty? Be beauty?
May we clear our minds, open our hearts, and
be ready.
For surprising delights,
Charlene
