This is an extra post. I'm aiming to keep it short. I value your time. I value you!
Mainly, I want to thank you for your interest in The Twelve Gifts, for reading my touchstone reflections, and for your caring during my recent health challenge. I greatly appreciate your prayers, supportive notes, and loving expressions. Thank you so much!
I'm also writing to ask if you have any feedback or suggestions that would
make Today's Touchstones more meaningful and helpful for you. I try to present a mix of short and long ones along with a balance between personal and impersonal messages as well as an equal focus on each of the specific gifts.
What might you like more of? Less of? Perhaps you have some "instead of" ideas. I'm thinking that it's time to refresh the banner in
the next few months. Any thoughts about that?
On Friday it will be six weeks since my double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. According to the doctors, I'm progressing well. I understand from them, and from many women who have traveled this road before me, that it takes time - a year or more, perhaps two - to reach a place of feeling fully restored.
With
"time" in mind, my prayer and wish for us all is that we bring patience to each day. We bring patience to our goals, our dreams, our issues, our challenges. We bring patience to ourselves and to our beloveds. Patience to all. Compassion too.
