~ Charlene Costanzo
The above is from something I posted on Facebook a few days ago and is related to a recent touchstone.
As I continue to heal from my surgery for breast cancer - and having healed from lymphoma, another form of cancer, 16 years ago - I can't help but see connections between how we respond to the growth of cancer cells in the human body and cancer-like growth of troubled people in our world.
Instead of raging against what threatens us - be it confused cells or
confused people - we need to commit ourselves to regularly fostering well-being and harmony, in ourselves and everywhere. I readily admit that I very much need to do this myself.
Today's intention is this: May we bring wisdom and higher perspectives to every challenge we face.
As Einstein said:
"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."
and
"Insanity: doing the same thing over
and over again and expecting different results."
Instead of looking for answers only in our heads, with the human mind - as brilliant as it can be - we so very much need the wisdom of our hearts.
From the
heart,
Charlene
