When you own your imperfections and embrace your life, you become a better person. Life is about turning obstacles into pedestals."
~ Dodinsky
I'm learning to accept a part of my body that looks quite "imperfect' right now.
Of course, I've got plenty of other qualities and traits that could be labeled "imperfect" too.
Ironically, a big "imperfect" one for me is perfectionism!
You may recall me writing in the past about being a recovering perfectionist. I sure have a lot to work on around this issue now while I'm limited with what I can do for myself and have to let others do so many things for me.
I'm also asking: How might my present obstacles be turned into pedestals? How can I see better and more clearly by stepping up onto each obstacle?
While I reflect on that....What obstacle can become a pedestal in your life now? How might you gain a whole new perspective by stepping up onto that obstacle?
And what might you lovingly embrace about yourself in order to become a better person?
Becoming better with you...
In love,
Charlene
