TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"The next time you feel frightened and fragile,
stand very still.
If you do, you might feel
the tip of an angel's wing
brush against your shoulder."
                           ~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

I've never felt an angelic brush against my shoulder. Perhaps you have. Or, maybe not.

But haven't we all sensed an unexplained heavenly presence at some time in our lives?

One time during an acupuncture session I felt a sensation of golden warmth passing back and forth along my left side. When the session was over and I was speaking to the acupuncturist, I mentioned her being in the room during the treatment time. "I wasn't back in the room," she said. "Until right now."

Was that moving golden warmth just my imagination? Was it my own energy responding to acupuncture? Or was an angelic presence present? I don't know. (I think healing angel.)

I do believe that help is always near when we are fragile. Actually I believe that help is always near us, period.

And I know for sure that we all sometimes get to be earth angels for one another, especially when we are fully present, listening and loving without judgment.

May we be ready for angel encounters of all kinds today.

Believing,
Charlene
