"If you want a love message to be heard, it has got to be sent out. To keep a lamp burning, we have to keep putting oil in it."
~ Mother Teresa
Not just once. Not just now and then.
For a love message to be received, she said, it's got to be sent again and again, refueled regularly like an oil lamp.
May we honor our mothers this Mothers' Day by committing to send love messages regularly to them - wherever they may be
- and to all whom we value.
Let's also begin to express and show love more fully and purely, without conditions.
Female, male, parent or not, may we "mother" one another today for the health, happiness, and well-being of all.
Before closing, on a lighter note, if you were to quote your mother, what would you say? What was one of her famous sayings?
With much love, especially for my mom,
Charlene
