TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Anybody can rise to a crisis and face a crushing tragedy with courage, but to meet the petty hazards of the day with a laugh - I really think that requires spirit."
                                                 ~ Jean Webster

"To have courage for whatever comes in life -
everything lies in that," said Saint Teresa of Avila, which is a way of saying that e
very challenge - large and small - is significant and deserves recognition and appreciation.

Consider too that when we use courage, we are bringing other gifts into the "whatever comes." Is there not strength within courage, hope within courage, faith within courage? Courage holds a kind of beauty too, I think.

May these quotes stir some personal courage guidance for each of us so that we all
bring courage - and lightness of spirit - to this once-in-all eternity day.

Kindness too,
Charlene
