TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"The person born with a talent they are meant to use will find their greatest happiness in using it."

                         ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

No matter how well we have come to recognize, appreciate, and cultivate one or more of our special abilities, there's always more for us to discover.

A new limb may be branching from the trunk of our "Talent Tree." Let's pay attention to what that might be. What stirs joy in us? What bliss is calling us forward?

If we have been undervaluing or ignoring our talentry, let's make a loving course correction now and ask the same questions:  What stirs joy in us? What bliss is calling us forward?

With the ongoing intention to honor and renew our dreams, let's consider these additional Goethe wisdoms:

Correction does much, but encouragement does more.

The greatest evil that can befall man is that he should come to think ill of himself.

The way you see people is the way you treat them, and the way you treat them is what they become.

May we treat ourselves well, with encouragement, respect, recognition, and appreciation. Others too, of course. And expect the best.

Excelsior,
Charlene
