"Each of us has a vision of good and of evil. We have to encourage people to move towards what they think is good... Everyone has his own idea of good and evil and must choose to follow the good and fight evil as he conceives them. That would be enough to make the world a
better place.”
~ Pope Francis
After coming upon an inspiring Lenton quote from Pope Francis yesterday, I looked into more of his
quotes. I appreciate how the one above shifts my perspective, leads me to think differently, and opens my heart to greater respect for others and how they think and feel.
I am reminded to refrain from judging and to instead look for the good, to encourage the good, and to love.
With love,
Charlene
PS - The related Pope Francis quote below reminds us to go further...not only to refrain from judging (and worrying) but to trust that the presence of God working within all persons.
"Although the life of a person is in a land full of thorns and weeds, there is always a space in which the good seed can grow. You have to trust God.”
A final thought for this touchstone:
If/when we and others make choices that take us off the best route to our soul's destination, again and again and again, the voice of Love within offers us a way to find our way.
