TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

                       ~ John F. Kennedy

Let's begin this day imagining ourselves becoming stronger at living by our words.

Just imagine... if the values we say we value slipped from our lips, sunk into our hearts, stirred our souls, and seeped into our bones.

Imagine if we lived by the principles we say we hold dear.

One by one we really “get it.”
We walk our talk.
We treat others as we want to be treated.
We tell the truth.
We respect the rights of all.
We forgive again and again, seventy times seven.
We love others as we love ourselves.

Our lives would be transformed.
The world would be too.

In addition to imagining, and calling upon strength to walk our talk, let's bring mindfulness to this day and notice (without judgement) when we are living our values as well as when we fall short.

With love,
Charlene

STRENGTH. May you remember to call upon it whenever you need it.
