TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

“I like flaws and feel more comfortable around people who have them. I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.”

                 ~ Augusten Burroughs

Of course we've all got them. But sometimes, we try to hide what we judge as flaws.

This quote reminds me of the wise Velveteen Rabbit story and books by Brene Brown about the power of being vulnerable.

Today, let's allow ourselves to be real, flaws and all, appreciate others just as they are, and find strength and beauty in that.

With love for all,
Charlene
