"As a doctor, let me tell you what self-love does: It improves your hearing, your eyesight, lowers your blood pressure, increases pulmonary function, cardiac output, and helps wiring the musculature. So, if we had a rampant epidemic of self-love then our healthcare costs
would go down dramatically. So, this isn't just some little frou-frou new age notion, oh love yourself honey. This is hardcore science."
~ Christiane Northrup
Although Valentine's Day has past, when I came across this quote yesterday, I knew I had to post this message about self love.
Too often too many people have said self love is somehow wrong and to be avoided. As a result, that is one of those false and limiting beliefs many of us carry deep within. We may not even be aware that it is there in our unconsciousness.
Let's begin today to consciously increase the love we feel for ourselves and the expressions of it. May we give ourselves loving self care today and everyday. Perhaps begin each day by looking into your eyes in the mirror and
saying, "I love you. I really love you." Dr. Northrup recommends doing this for at least 30 days. Yes, you may feel odd doing this for the first few days, but as you approach the 30th, something powerful is likely to happen.
Join me in this? To health!
With loving,
Charlene
