TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"When we go to the gym, we don't blame the weights for being too heavy, we use them to make us stronger. In that way we can use adversity to become more capable and competent in life."

                                     ~ Wes Hopper

Today's quote was used once before, in 2014. Quite honestly, as I searched for new quotes yesterday, I could not find one that stirred a reflective response in me. So I looked back into the archives and this is the one that caught my caring.

Many of us have made New Year resolutions to improve our fitness and physical strength. As we begin the second month of the New Year, perhaps we can aim to build our inner strength too.

Whenever a challenge arises, let's remember Wes Hopper's wisdom, hold his perspective, and call upon strength to further build strength.

With love, hope, and joyfulness too,

STRENGTH. May we remember to call upon it whenever we need it.
