TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Unlike a lot of people, I don't feel powerless. I know I can do something. But anyone can do something, it's not about being special. It's about deciding to do it - to dive into work for peace and justice and care for everybody on the planet."

                                        ~ Patch Adams

It's true. We can all do something. There are millions of ways.

Let's begin by bringing into our minds and hearts an image and a feeling of caring for every human being and creature on the planet.

Next, we let wisdom inspire and guide us to something that is ours to do.

As I write this, one of my favorite Mother Teresa quotes comes to mind. "We are all little pencils in the hand of a writing God who is sending love letters into the world."

Imagine if we each sought a way, however large or small, of bringing love and compassion and peace and justice into the world everyday. And decided to do it?

How will you use your gifts today?

Toward peace and justice,
Charlene
