This quote reminds me of the expression "Love is a
decision" which my husband and I first heard at a Marriage Encounter Weekend almost 40 years ago.
"A decision? How unromantic!" my 20 something self said, at first. I can't begin to tell you how many times over the years that expression has served me well.
Of course, sometimes I forget. Or resist. But the peace and joy that comes from loving is always worth the effort.
Today, let's love on purpose. Beginning with ourselves.
