"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was
joy."
~ Rabindranath
Tagore
While many of us think of service as volunteer work, service is also an attitude and a way of being.
We can always be "in service" no matter what we are doing. In fact, if we shift to a service perspective while doing something we are not enjoying, the result is often a bubbling up of joy.
So let's aim to be "in service" today and open our hearts to a flow of joy.
With loving,

Two further things I'd like to share for consideration:
During a stay at Kripalu, a yoga and retreat center in Lenox, MA, I learned about doing "seva," which is working in loving service. You may wish to use this word and the idea of acting in loving service.
Whenever I have cared for cats - my own and my daughters - and I felt that some part of it was distasteful - such as cleaning litter and giving pills - I shifted to seva
and experiences peace and joy in doing the work I had previously resisted.
Joy to you in all that you do!

JOY. May it keep your heart open and filled with
light. (from The Twelve Gifts of Birth)
