"Wide awake to the presence of God, I realized I had been so focused on asking why a good God allowed bad things to happen that I was missing out on the nearness of God all along."
~ Margaret Feinberg
After yesterday's touchstone about thinking differently and "near fetched vs. far fetched," I felt drawn to reflect further on "nearness" today. And I came upon this quote.
Whatever we call the Higher Power, it seems to me that most of us most
of the time tend to imagine the presence of God somewhere out in the distant heavens.
What a difference it makes when we aim to sense the Divine Presence as near, not far, and within us, instead of outside us.
May we open our minds and hearts.
With faith,
Charlene
