Whenever we say, "How can I bring love to this situation? How can I see it from a spiritual perspective instead of the way of the world?" something shifts within us.
I'd like to share a personal
story.
A few days ago I brought a dessert to an event. Afterward, I could not find my beautiful big brand new mini muffin pan. Since no once else brought anything that used such a pan, I came to the conclusion that someone helped themselves to mine. At first I felt confused, then angry, then hurt, then betrayed. I did not want to stay in that victim mentality so I asked
Spirit for help.
And the phrase Secret Santa popped into my mind. Aha. I saw a way to lighten up and let go.
With Christmas-like spirit, I could give the gift of a mini muffin pan to someone. And instead of me being the secret giver, I could accept that I would not know the identity of the secret receiver. And with that, my peace was restored. Peace led to gratitude, which led to joy.
May all of life's gifts flow into all the areas
of your life today.
