TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE
"You could think of mindfulness as wise and affectionate attention."

                                    ~ Jon Kabat-Zinn

This gives me a new understanding and appreciation for "mindfulness."

Beyond aiming to be present with focused awareness, we can bring wise and affectionate attention to what we do.

This quote also reminds me of the notion that unconditional love can be seen as unconditional friendliness toward oneself.

May these different ways of explaining help us to experience the beauty of mindfulness and self-compassion today.

Wonder, wisdom, and grace too.

Charlene
