TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE
"We were taught to sit still and enjoy the silence. We were taught to use our organ of smell, to look when apparently there we nothing to see, and to listen intently when all was seemingly silent."

                                  ~ Luther Standing Bear

Most of us were not taught to be present in the moment and tune in to the beauty and wonder of life with all our senses.

In fact, we might have be told that such a focus is a waste of time.

Along with today's activities, let's balance this day by taking time to look, listen, smell, taste, or touch something with more than our usual degree of mindfulness. Maybe we can approach the whole day this way.

May we benefit by experiencing peace, reverence, and other blessings too.

With love,
Charlene
